Wooot! right on the day of Christmas, I flew to Bali with my family and my in-laws too. Couple places that visit to include the Kuta Beach (Pantai Segara) as well as Pecatu which the Balinese called it “Dreamland”. Pecatu was amazing
clean water + 3 feet waves…nice! The only thing that is suck is how to get there. Apparently, Pecatu is still under construction and the tourists are allowed to go to the beach. Since I had to carry my camera + stroller + my baby, it was not a fun thing. I was frustrated + angry … but then when I reached the place…all I did was WOW look at that white sand and the clear water!! Those anger + frustration gone with the waves
I am glad that this trip happened.
Below is some of the captures
Please visit the place and I hope by the time you are there, the construction is done!
Found these photos in my archives
I captured this photo while I was exploring the back alley next to the busy main road. This is part of the Malang city in East Java.
Finally, I have time to upgrade my theme to a different one.
After sometimes browsing for the right theme, I managed to find this theme made by Studio Press (Brian Gardner). It looks great and I love the features, presentations and the color too.
There are still some changes or fixes that I need to do in order to get older posts and photos to be displayed correctly. Hopefully soon it’ll be done!
Please do enjoy the new style and look. And more photos to come!
Cheers,
Rudy
I have been reading on some macro photographer such as Robert Thompson, Gary Bryan and Stan Sholik. I am amazed by how they described the world of macro photography. One thing that they share in common is that they have passion in doing this. Whether they shoot inanimate thing or nature wildlife, they always take their own sweet time. Their inspirations come from every things that surround them.
They inspired me to try out macro photography actually. I love how flowers and small things such as lady bug amazed me with their unique colors and patterns. and you know I never had a chance to really shot them in a “macro” way (hopefull that’s the right term for it) hehe.
I love nature in every way and i hope I can find the passion in this macro photography.
Below is one of the shots that I made recently

Butterfly on the wall
Had a chance to shoot flowers and leaves along the roadside of Edmond’s Ferry Terminal. I was using my 28-135mm lens. It was cloudy sky with a chance of raining ![]()
Ah finally got another chance to take a small walk into a golf course down by Edmond Community College.
Took quite a number of pictures and saw this twin trunk tree.
I always wanted to try to take a photo of a “smooth” running water fall. I guess fountain will work as well. hehehe. It was a 3 seconds and high aperture shot.

On July 19th of 2008, I had a chance to explore the low tide treasures and animal kingdoms
Today was the lowest tide and the Seattle Aquarium Groups are out there on the popular beaches around Greater Seattle area.
One of them is the Richmond Beach, since it’s nearby my home, I decided to head there.
Seaweed Eel is the most popular thing with this beach. I saw them along the coast of the beach and underneath them hidden many sea lives and “treasures”.
Check out some of the photos below.

I am planning to do some photo shoot on my friends sometimes in the middle of March.
I think candid photos and some model photos are nice to learn and experience with. I heard expression photography is very fun and enjoyable.
I learned some techniques and read some books on how to take photos on people. Let’s see how it will be
